PURPOSE & RESPONSIBILITY
Terms of use
Private automation with clear boundaries.
Last updated: October 10, 2026
1. Private, noncommercial use
Agent AI Gmail Agent is a personal Python application running on a privately managed Synology NAS. It is not a commercial email-management service and is not available for public registration. This website describes the application; it does not operate the agent or authorize Gmail access.
2. Authorization and permitted use
Use the agent only with Gmail accounts you own or are authorized to manage. Review and grant the necessary Google OAuth permissions before operation. Use must comply with applicable Google policies and account terms. Data handling is described in the privacy policy.
3. Automated actions
Configured rules can label and archive promotions, archive USPS Informed Delivery daily emails, and apply attachment-review labels. Matching rules may misclassify messages; review their effects and adjust them as needed. Archiving preserves messages in All Mail and does not free storage. The agent does not automatically delete messages or attachments. Any manual deletion is the user’s decision.
4. Operator and user responsibilities
The operator is responsible for maintaining the NAS, protecting OAuth credentials and local files, configuring rules and schedules, and keeping the privacy disclosures accurate. Users should review important mail and maintain appropriate backups. No uninterrupted operation, perfect classification, or particular storage reduction is promised.
5. Stopping use
You can stop scheduled runs on the NAS and revoke authorization through Google Account third-party connections. Revocation does not undo mailbox changes or delete locally retained data. Follow the privacy policy’s local-removal guidance or contact the operator.
6. Availability and limitations
The application is provided as available for private use. Operation depends on the NAS, network access, Google API availability, and valid authorization. Features may change or be discontinued. To the extent permitted by applicable law, no warranties are made regarding availability or fitness for a particular purpose. These terms do not exclude rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
7. Independence and policy status
This application is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google, Synology, or USPS. Their names identify the services and platform used. Publishing this website does not establish Google OAuth verification, approval, or permission to use any particular API scope. Any applicable verification or security-assessment requirements are separate.
8. Changes and contact
The operator will update these terms when the application’s operation changes. The date above identifies the latest revision. Contact the operator at the address above for questions.
